CSP certification is a college student software professional ability certification project initiated by CCF from 2014. It is a certification platform for cultivating and improving college students’ computer knowledge. This year, the CCF Awards Committee decided that CCF CSP certification results become a necessary condition for recommending the “CCF Outstanding College Student Award”.

In order to improve our software engineering graduates’ professional level and employment quality, with the support of the YSU's Academic Affairs Office and the leaders of theSchool of Information Science and Engineering, since 2016, the Software Engineering Department has organized all software engineering sophomores to take the CSP certification exam. YSU is the only designated test center in Qinhuangdao. On September 16, 2018, the second CSP certification exam will be held this year. 300 students from YSU will sign up the certification examination, and the winners of the last three exams will be invited to participate in the 2018 CCF College Computer and Programming Competition (2018CCSP) held at Hangzhou Electronics University on October 25.
