[News from the News Center] On November 10, theNational Graduate Education Steering Committee for Professional Engineering Degreeissued the Notice on the List of Honorary Titles of the 5th“Outstanding Achievements in Graduate Engineering Practice/Internship” (Engineering Teaching Committee [2018] No. 16). YSU students, Ji Ce (on-campus instructor: Huang Huagui, off-campus instructor: Tang Wei) and Liu Yaxing (on-campus instructor: Bai Zhenhua, off-campus instructor: Li Xiujun) both fromSchool of Mechanical Engineering, won this honor.
In this selection, 115 outstanding engineering graduates from 64 universities including Tsinghua University won the award. There are only two students recommended by YSU in Hebei Province. This is the fourth consecutive year that our university has won this award, and a total of 7 engineering graduates have won this honorary title.
Since YSU began to enroll the full-time students majoring in engineering degree in 2009, the development of quality professional practice is an important measure for the education of professional degree graduates. YSU has been concentrated efforts in the construction of practice bases inside and outside the school, create modular training programs, highlight distinctive training, and constantly improve the quality guarantee mechanism for professional degree graduates education. After years of development, more and more professional engineering graduates have gained outstanding achievements in the practice / internship. A large number of outstanding graduates are needed by the society and a reputation is built.
Since 2014, theNational Graduate Education Steering Committee for Professional Engineering Degreehas launched this selection aiming to recognize the full-time Engineering Masters who has achieved outstanding performance and achievements in the practice of internship.
