[News from the News Center] Recently, the Science and Technology Department of Hebei Province issued the “Announcement on the 2018 Annual Natural Science Award, Technology Invention Award, and Science and Technology Progress Award Overall Evaluation Results”. After the 2018 Provincial Natural Science Award, Technology Invention Award, and Science and Technology Progress Award, a total of 260 projects were recommended. YSU organized 15 projects for the selection and finally 12 of them were recommended awards after several reviews, 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes, and 4 third prizes.
According to the announcement: 30 first prizes of the 2018 Hebei Science and Technology Awards were recommended (3 for the Natural Science Award, 3 for the Technology Invention Award, and 24 for the Science and Technology Progress Award); 90 second prizes (6 for Natural Science Awards, 8 for technical invention awards, 76 for Scientific and Technological Progress Awards); 140 third prizes (10 for the third prize of the Natural Science Award, 8 for the third prize of the Technology Invention Award, and 122 for the Science and Technology Progress Award).
In the next stage, the recommended awards for the general evaluation will be submitted to the Provincial Science and Technology Awards Committee for review.
