[News from the News Center] On the morning, Apr. 17, Agranat Dmitrii, Vice-Rector of Moscow City University (MCU), Milyaeva Daria, Head of MCU International Relations Department, Vashkyavichus Valentina, Vice Head of MCU Chinese Language Department, Shiian Igor, Deputy Director of MCUInstitute of Culture and Arts, and Jiang Shangrong, associate professor of MCU Institute of System Projects, visited YSU. Kong Xiangdong, YSU vice president met with Mr. Agranat Dmitrii and his delegation, and exchanged on their work with them. Leaders from YSU International Cooperation Division, School of Foreign Studies, School of International Exchange, School of Arts and Design, and School of Marxism.

At the meeting, Kong Xiangdong welcomed AgranatDmitrii and his delegation on behalf of YSU and introduced the situation and the development of the university. Kong Xiangdong said that the Sino-Russian friendship provided favorable conditions for cooperation between the two universities, and he hoped that the two universities would continue to expand exchanges and cooperation on the basis of active exchanges between teachers and students, and strive to achieve further cooperation in running schools overseas and in scientific research. Leaders of the International Cooperation Divisiondiscussed with the delegation on undergraduate exchange, postgraduate joint training, long-term exchange ofteachers, joint construction of scientific research platform, and overseas education, and they reached many agreements.
AgranatDmitrii expressed his heartfelt thanks to YSU, and he briefly introduced the current situation of MCU.He said that they would further implement the details of the studentexchanges between the two universities and exploredeeper cooperationin more fields, and he hopedthis visit could achieve the expected results.

After the meeting, Kong Xiangdong and Agranat Dmitri signed theagreement on student exchanges between the two universities. According to the agreement, they will send the first group of exchange students in this fall semester.
Previously, YSU and MCU have signed an inter-school cooperation agreement in September 2018. MCU, established in 1995, is located in Moscow, the capital of Russia. MCUnow has 17,500 students, and offers 450 majors. Every year, more than 400 international students enroll at MCU. MCU is relatively young but develops rapidly in recent years and currently ranks 29thin Russian universities.
