[News from the News Center] On May 18, our university sent 7 contestants to participate in the "2019 CCF College Computer System and Programming Competition (CCSP)--North China Regional Competition" hosted by the China Computer Society (CCF) and organized by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. After 7 hours of fierce competition, one player of our university won the silver medal and five contestants won the bronze medals.

The competition was undertaken by the Software Engineering Department of the School of Information, which was composed of 6 students from the Department of Soft Engineering and 1 student from the Department of Computer Science.
CCF CCSP is jointly sponsored by 15 famous universities such as Tsinghua University, Beihang University, and Renmin University of China. It aims to improve the level of computer education in colleges and universities. It is the highest level of computer system and programming capability in colleges and universities. The competition in was fierce, and 87 athletes from Tsinghua University, Beihang University, Renmin University of China, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications participated in the competition. There were 9 gold medals, 18 silver medals and 26 bronze medals were awarded.
