[News from the News Center] From July 16-19, the 2019 Academic Annual Meeting of the Hebei Provincial Mathematical Society and the Mathematics Teaching Steering Committee Meeting of Hebei Higher Education School were held at Hebei Normal University of Nationalities. Teacher Li Xin, from the School of Science, and teacher Wang Yanning, from the Department of Applied Mathematics of the School of Science, won the Special Prize and the First Prize in the teaching competition of young mathematics teachers group. In addition, Li Xin also won the Third Prize of the Youth Academic Award of the Hebei Provincial Mathematical Society.

The expert group had reviewed 17 documents submitted for the awards. Li Xin was awarded the Third Prize of the 2019 Youth Academic Award.
