[News from the News Center] Several days before, the second annual conference of China Technology Incubator and Innovation Ecology was held in Beidaihe, which was sponsored by the Technology Incubator and Innovation Ecology Branch of Chinese Society of Technology Economics (CSTE), and jointly hosted undertaken by YSU School of Economics and Management, Institute of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Investment of Northeastern University at Qinhuangdao (NEUQ), and YSU Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. More than 120 experts, scholars, entrepreneurs and young students from over 40 universities, enterprises and research institutes across the country attended the conference.

The conference was presided over by Prof. Wang Hongqi from School of Economics and Management of Harbin University of Science and Technology, executive vice chairman of CSTE Technology Incubator and Innovation Ecology Branch.
The annual conference included a main report of the conference and two sub-conferences. In the main report of the conference, seven experts delivered academic reports and put forward clear viewpoints, including: Prof. Su Jingqin from Dalian University of Technology, Prof. Wang Zongjun from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Prof. Wang Xuejun from Wuhan University (WHU), Prof. Hou Renyong from Wuhan University of Technology, Prof. Wu Weiwei of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Qiao Huijun, CEO of A plus Labs, and Luo Guofeng, Associate professor from NEUQ. Meanwhile, the participants had a heated discussion and interactive exchange on the contents of their report.
The first sub-conference focused on technology incubation and venture investment. Prof. Zhang Jingwei, Director of YSU Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, presided over the seminar. Prof. Li Zhitang from the School of Management of Beijing Institute of Printing and Wang Yi, Associate Professor from the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University made comments on the discussions.

The second sub-conference was a seminar on the innovation and entrepreneurship management column of theJournal of Management Science. The seminar was presided over by Prof. Wu Weiwei from HIT School of Economics and Management. Prof. Wang Zongjun, dean of HUST School of Management, Prof. Shao Yunfei from School of Economics and Management ofUniversity of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Prof. Wang Xuejun from WHU School of Management, and Prof. Yu Bo from HIT School of Economics and Management made comments on the discussion. Prof.Lan Hua, executive editor-in-chief oftheJournalof Management Science, delivered a speech and introduced the column.
Finally, Prof. Yu Bo, Executive Director of the CSTE Technology Incubation and Innovation Ecology Branch of the HIT School of Economics and Management made a summary of the second annual conference of China Technology Incubator and Innovation Ecology. Prof. Yu expressed his heartfelt thanks to the brilliant reports of experts and scholars, the active participation of the guests, the strong support and careful arrangements of the organizers.

This year marks the 40thanniversary of the founding of YSU School of Economics and Management, and next yearwill witness the 100thanniversary since YSU’s establishment, and 60thanniversary of independent running. Holding the annual meeting has further enhanced the popularity of the university and the school and expanded the influence in its field.
