[News from the News Center] Recently, the 20th Universiadeof Hebei Province, sponsored by Hebei Education Department and co-sponsored by Hebei University Sports Association, officially ended in Hebei Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology. Our university’s sports team won five championships in aerobics, seven Championships in table tennis and 4x100m championship in men’s group C of track and field (ordinary students of physical education institute). The high-level men’s volleyball team ranked second, women’s volleyball team ranked second, men’s basketball team ranked second and men’s basketball team ranked second among other awards.

More than 2,000 athletes from 88 colleges and universities in the province participated in the games. Our university sent 12 coaches and nearly 100 athletes to participate in the six major events of volleyball, aerobics, table tennis, track and field group C, basketball group C and speed skating.
