[News from the News Center] Recently, in the“Yingshi Cup”National College Go Chess Championship, after seven days of fierce competition, Peng Leyi of our university defeated many Go Chess players with professional experience and won the women's individual national championship. Our university team won the national championship of the women's team and was the best result we have ever had.

This competition adopts a round-robin system with four groups of men, women, groups and mixed doubles. More than 200 athletes from 32 famous universities in China, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University and Nankai University, participated in the competition. The Go Chess team of our university consists of two female members from the School ofSchool of Humanities and LawandSchool of Foreign Studies, each of which is amateur. Teacher Wang Yiwu of the School of Physical Education served as a coach.
The competition was held at Dalian University of Technology, hosted by the China University Sports Association, organized by Dalian University of Technology and Dalian Go Chess Association. By participating in this competition, the influence of our university was promoted through the exchange between the universities.
