He pointed out that the “InternetPlus”competitionhas effectively promoted the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities, improved the overall quality, practical ability and innovative spirit of students, and cultivated a grand team of talented people who are innovative and brave in their practice.Besides, he hopedthat all colleges and universities should take thecompetitionas the starting point, and explore the effective ways toget improved inlearning,education,andinnovationthrough the competition, and further improve the innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities. Universities should cultivate more talents tosupport for the innovation-driven development strategyin response to national initiative ofencourage business start-ups and innovation.

The new era and the new situation have put forward new and higher requirements for the reform of higher education personnel training. It is urgent to deepen the reform of education and teaching reform, especially the innovation and entrepreneurship education, and actively adapthigher education to thestrategyofnational development andtheneedsofeconomic and social development. Meanwhile, we shouldform a long-term mechanism to promote the cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial talents and the transformation of innovative achievements with the competition as a carrier, and promotetransformation of innovation and entrepreneurial achievementsthrough the integration of innovation chainand the resources.
The5th“InternetPlus”Competition included three groups:higher educationgroup, “building red dreams for youth”groupand vocational educationgroup. A total of 160 projects were selected to participate in thefinalcompetitionwith50 gold medalsand110 silver prizes. A projectof YSUwon the championship of the higher educationgroup.Besides, five projects of YSUwereshortlisted for gold medalsandall the finalists were recommended to the national competition.
